Brenden Anderson


Brenden comes to Albion with a high-level playing background and deep passion for soccer. Raised in Molalla, OR he came up playing for Eastside United Liverpool in Gresham, OR. In 2010, his U18 club team won the US Youth National Championship, becoming only the 2nd team from Oregon ever to do so.

In High School, he was a 4-year letter winner in soccer and named MVP of his conference and a first-team all-state selection as both a Junior and Senior. He was also a 2-year letter winner in football where he was an all-league kicker and punter as a senior.

He went on to play Division-1 soccer at Oregon State University where he would start 61 games in 4 years as a defender for the Beavers. In his senior year, he helped the team make their first NCAA Tournament appearance in over a decade. After college, he played two seasons for Lane United (USL League 2) in Eugene, OR and served as a team captain in 2015.

Brenden lives in Newberg with his wife Shannon, son Jack and dog Arnold. He works as a talent acquisition professional and enjoys music, comedy, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
